Using your favorite song is a fun way to help you cope with stress. Songs have a powerful way to tap into your autonomic nervous system. There is something about the rhythm, pacing and tone that can shift your mood. Capitalizing on this tendency can help you to either activate or lift your mood, or calm it down when stressed. Try making two song lists 1. to get you activated and pumped up and 2. to help you chill and calm the mind.
