In Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), values are the guiding principles that shape how you want to live and treat yourself, others, and the world-not just what you want to achieve, but how you want to show up every day. Unlike goals, which you can check off a list, values are ongoing directions that help you find purpose and meaning, even during tough times.

Take a moment to reflect: What do you want to stand for? How do you want to behave in relationships, work, or your community? When you clarify your values and take small actions that align with them, you create a more authentic and fulfilling life.
